This is a living, continuing, recycle project! The house is 145 + years old and was part of the Wheeler farms. The original farm
was 4,000 acres, divided among 12 children and now their heirs.
We were fortunant to buy the "home place". It has taken 16 years to restore the house,and we are still adding. It is truely a "recyclers" dream. Original 100 year old camalias,azaleas.
+++ We've added many more heirloom perennials and herbs.
We are far enough from the large cities to have peace of mind and safety, but near enough to enjoy the "big city" culture,etc...
We are within 5 minutes of a very good medical clinic; 1 hour to Charleston, or Myrtle Beach. 1 1/4 hours to Florence. All have great cultural activities. Historic Georgetown is 25 minutes.
Monsk Corner, SC, 30 minutes.
Our little town of Andrews is small but friendly. All emergency
needs are nearby.
